Blogging...round two

Some of you may know that I dove into the blogging world once before, only to come up gasping for air. This time I'm back with a vengeance. I guess it helps that I've been tasked with creating a blog for one of my classes, but maybe that was the nudge I needed to begin sharing our life with friends/family/blog surfers again through pictures, ponderings, and other posts. You'll be able to find out some things about me in my profile, but for the sake of my BU classmates I'll give a little synopsis of who I am. My name is Travis and I've had the pleasure of being labeled a "military brat" growing up in a family that moved a few different times before settling down in the great state of Minnesota (a.k.a. Southern Canada). I was a three sport varsity letter winner in high school (football, basketball, and baseball), although my contribution to the teams may be something up for debate :). I was fortunate enough to be accepted to your United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School before eventually getting accepted to the Air Force Academy in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO. (I can say it's beautiful now that I'm not living in the dorms :) haha) After graduation I began dating a gorgeous young lady who was, and is, way out of my league. I quickly asked Miranda to marry me before she realized what she was in for and we tied the knot at a ski resort overlooking Lake Superior. Since then, she has blessed me with two beautiful girls, Aubriee and Alexis. Our short life together is already filled with a million memories I will always cherish...from our days at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, UT to our current station, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. I look forward to sharing our memories with the blogging world and creating my own little scrapbook of our life together.
